Eugen Onegin

Four young people want to break out of their everyday world. Lenski visits his fiancée Olga and brings a mysterious friend with him: Eugene Onegin. At that moment, Olga's sister Tatjana thought she realized that she couldn't just be happy in her dreams. Based on the novel, Alexander Pushkin's Tchaikovsky's opera tells of eternal love and missed opportunities. All characters become each other's fate and have to deal with a society in which it is not always clear how determined or self-inflicted people's actions actually are. To this day, the work takes its audience into a world of desire and unhappiness.
